Paintball with the Tramps

Last week, Saddle Tramps had a quiet and relaxing week to focus on their school work, but

during the weekend, they had the opportunity to go to Elite Paintball together and have

some fun by shooting each other to their hearts content. There was a lot of paint spilled,

and fun had.

Next week is Homecoming week and then the homecoming showdown on October 11th

between the Texas Tech Red Raiders and the Kansas Jayhawks. As usual there are a lot of

events lined up throughout the week. From the opening ceremony on Monday all the way

down to the Bonfire and concert on Friday and Kickoff at 6:30 pm on Saturday.

On Friday night, the Tramps will be in the parade with their Homecoming partners from AOE

doing their bell circle periodically throughout the parade. After the parade, the Tramps will

light the bonfire. This year's bonfire starters will be Mason Fox, Declan Lowe, Trent

“Squishy” Daley, Caden Carroll, Ethan Plauche, Zac Bliss, Xavier Flores, Jake Gonzalez, and

TJ Dixon.

After the parade and lighting of the bonfire Flatland Cavalry will be the main performers for

the concert that night. The Tramps will be having a short wrapping with Flatland Cavalry to

wrap the Will Rogers and Soapsuds statue the day before. Flatland Cavalry is a growing

country group with almost 3 million monthly listeners. They are known for their origins in

Lubbock and at Texas Tech University.
